DJ Munition (Tyler) Travel Wedding

Pricing through 2026

Congratulations on your engagement! I am excited that you and your fiance are considering me to make your wedding extraordinary. As an experienced DJ in all types of events, I want to really understand you and your fiance to make the day unlike any other wedding you, your family, and your friends have ever experienced. Here’s how travel DJ gigs work:

The Process

1. Vibe Check

Let's chat and get to know each other.  Talk about what your priorities are and what you are looking for in your big day and how I can make the dream a reality!

2. Contract and Deposit

If you both are good to move forward, I will draft up a contract and with that and a deposit (See below), you have BOOKED ME!!!

3. Planning & Friendship

HI FRIENDS!  Even with distance there are plenty of fun ways to stay connected and talk shit about the other weddings you attend in the meantime.  I also work on securing local sound and lighting and help you get them secured as well so I have the tools to make the day happen! (See below)

4. Final Meeting & 2nd Payment

30 days out I like to go over the finalized music and MC items as well as connect over how the engagement treated you both!  Are you sick of your families at this point?  Considering un-inviting aunt Judy?   I will go over final items and make sure I know exactly what you want for the day to execute!  The 2nd payment is also due at this point.

5. Best Damn Party of your Lives

I will fly in the day before and make sure all equipment is ready to roll.  Then we RAGE!

6. Final Travel Invoice

I will head out likely the next day and wish that we could just keep hanging forever.  Within a week of the wedding I will summarize all final travel items and invoice them over to be paid.  I try to be as transparent as possible and have zero interest in profiting off of items like travel. (See below)

Investment

Talent Fee: $5,000

This fee covers my expertise, of having DJed for 16 years and countless events of all types, performance, and preparation, including custom music curation, seamless coordination with your event team, and the creation of a personalized atmosphere for your celebration. The talent fee accounts for losing the opportunity to book other gigs on the days of travel.

Travel: ~$1,000

This is paid for by the couple directly if possible, or invoiced the week after the event.  This guarantees transparency for all parties. Me and a possible assistant arrive a day before your wedding to ensure no travel hiccups, and management of setup and soundchecks, and depart the day after to accommodate any schedule changes or extended celebrations.   This includes Flight, Rental Car, Potential Tolls, and Per Diem detailed below.

Hotel: Provided by Host

Staying at the same hotel as the wedding party allows us to be readily available for any last-minute adjustments and to seamlessly integrate with your event schedule.  Staying the night before and the night of the event at the same hotel as the wedding party is a requirement of booking my services.

Sound Production: ~$1000 - $1,500

I source high-quality local sound equipment to ensure top-notch audio performance. This includes speakers, mixers, and microphones necessary for a flawless event.  After sourcing, I have the couple directly pay for the equipment, set up, and tear down from the local production company, but manage all steps personally to ensure a perfect event with minimal involvement from the couple.

Lighting Production (Optional): ~$500 - Endless Opportunities!

Enhance your wedding ambiance with custom lighting solutions. From elegant uplighting to dynamic dance floor effects, lighting services add a touch of magic to your celebration.  We would also manage all of the design and coordination with the local company.  The couple would pay for this directly as well.

Summary of Fees

Most couples who book me to travel to DJ their wedding spend about $7,500: $6,000 invoiced through Engage Entertainment, and $1,500 to local production companies.

  • Talent & Time Fee: $5,000

  • Travel Estimates: Flight: ~$500 in US; Out of US is subject to time of year and distance from the Southwest of the US. Rental Car: ~$250, Per Diem $75/Day (Travel and Event Days), Tolls, etc: ??

  • Hotel: Provided by the couple where the wedding party is staying

  • Required Sound Production Local Rental: ~$1000 - $1,500

  • Optional Lighting Production Local Rental: ~$500 - Many Options!

I ensure every detail is perfect by investing significant time in pre-event planning, custom music curation, and seamless coordination with your event team. My approach guarantees transparency, as you, as the client, pay exact travel and rental costs.  These are paid directly, if possible, allowing you to see the true value of our services.

Payment Schedule

Reservation Retainer:  $2,500

This is paid at signing of the contract to secure booking on my calendar.

30 Day Out Payment:  $2,500

This is paid 30 days prior to the event date.  It also aligns with our final planning meeting to go over all finalized music selections.

Final Invoice:  ~$1000

This includes all exact travel costs invoiced to the couple.  To be paid within 14 days of final Event Date.

Sound and Lighting

Local production company payment schedules vary.  I put in the work to source and negotiate the lowest possible rate for the best gear that will allow me to perform my job successfully.

If this aligns with your vision and budget, let’s schedule a consultation to discuss your dream wedding below!

Let my past badass couples tell you whats up.

Where do I begin? I think the most important thing for my wife and I to start with is who Tyler (CEO, the boss, head DJ, wizard of bangers, trap God, etc) is as a person. From the first time that we spoke to him on the phone, the passion for his work and his people was tangible. We instantly connected with him and as soon as we hung up the phone, we looked at each other and said “that’s our guy”. And it wasn’t in any way a facade to simply get our commitment. That feeling only grew more evident over the year + of communicating and working with him leading up to the biggest day of our life. And let me tell you, without him, the day wouldn’t have even come close to amounting to what it did. But before I get there, let me explain a few things. First: Tyler isn’t the type of guy to just get a couple ideas of what you like and say “okay, see you at the wedding”. He learns who you are as people and as a couple, questions what is important to you, and makes sure that it’s important to him as well. My wife and I can honestly say that we consider him a dear friend after what he gave to us and our loved ones.
Second: he goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re taken care of. We had to deal with some *~silly~* things with our venues policies and he provided his full support and saved us hundreds of dollars by providing his input and expertise.

All of that being said, by the time we got to our wedding day, I had no doubt in my mind that everything would run flawlessly. Heck, after the ceremony, I even told my wife that I would have had him officiate the wedding if that was an option. And it did go flawlessly. There’s not a second of the day that we would change and if you think that the DJ isn’t a huge part of that (like I naively did), then let me be the first to tell you that the DJ is absolutely instrumental in how your event/wedding will go, no pun intended.

Finally, when it came to the set… this man throws nothing but bangers. The reception was an absolute blur and I can’t tell y’all how many people came up to us and asked where we found this guy. To quote our friend Mike, “That’s a DJ DJ” and our friend Soley “I would pay a million dollars to be back on that dance floor”. If you want somebody to play some songs that you threw together in a playlist without flow, artistic touch, and flare, this isn’t your team. But if you want a crew that will make your guests go absolutely wild, provide perfect audio for your guests to hear your ceremony (something about radio frequencies and the like), create a set rivaling that of a Vegas night club, and make you feel like you’ve been friends for years, then 20/10, we would recommend.

In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, Jenn and I said over and over, “we should have saved the money and eloped”. Well, that tune has absolutely changed since April 5th. Every single cent that we spent, especially on Engage Entertainment, was worth it and more. If we could relive that 6 hour period of our lives again and again, we would in an instant. So if you’re on the edge about spending the money, do it. You only get to live this one time and you should absolutely make the most of it.

To Tyler and your entire team: Thank you. From the bottom of our collective heart, thank you. We are unbelievably grateful for you and everything you gave to us. You’re diamonds in the rough, amongst folks trying to make a quick buck because they have a headset and some loud speakers. We’ll see you at every single event we could possibly think of having you at.

“This was his first Indian wedding, but no one would know it”

DJ Munition (aka Tyler Sherman) with Engage Entertainment was our excellent DJ extraordinaire. He really brought a hype to our wedding that was unmatched! The level of his performance was beyond ordinary. The equipment he used really made our wedding feel cinematic and luxurious. The lights, sound, cold sparks, and DJ booth with screen all added to the ambience. He went above and beyond in his talent and effortlessly engaged our guests to join in on the fun. Mind you, this was a traditional Indian wedding which required a whole different repertoire than a western ceremony. Tyler did a lot of extra prep to pull this off and he definitely succeeded because our dance floor was lit with no lows or lapses all evening! We received so many compliments about him afterward, including praises from our Indian guests. It was nice to meet with him in advance to share our wedding ideas and vision. All the music was catered to our wishes perfectly, spanning from explosive grand entrances to softer dinner tunes. He even made for us a few custom song edits to use for surprise dance numbers. He truly made our wedding spectacular! A total professional. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Tyler has been nothing short of awesome from the beginning. My husband found him through Google reviews and decided to look at some of his previous work through social media. Come to find out Tyler has done opening gigs for some of the biggest DJs known to the DJ world. We met with Tyler multiple times to talk through our style of music, our requests for the day, timelines and most of all trust in him to run the show. We could not have asked for person to run the entire time of events during our big day! Thank you so much for the amazing outcome. We would highly recommend Tyler and the full package for the best party you can create.

Working with Tyler for our wedding was truly a dream come true. We wanted our wedding to be the best party we’ve ever thrown, and I can honestly say it would not have been that without Tyler! From our pre-meetings, to seeing each other around town, to the day of, Tyler took deep time to get to know us as individuals and a couple, understand our music tastes and that of our family and friends, and how we wanted the day to go. The dance floor was constantly packed, and people of all ages were out there getting down! The number of people who complimented us on how amazing our DJ was was more than we could count! He was truly the BEST part of our day and we could not have been happier with how our party turned out!!! So grateful to Tyler and lucky to now call him a friend!

Engage entertainment deserves 5 stars across the board.  Their attention to detail and passion to meet our needs is unparalleled. My husband and I had the privilege to spend as much time as we needed during our planning session as well as many phone calls to ensure that all details would be perfect. This brought such a sense of comfort and solidified our confidence with him. When communicating with Tyler, we were very impressed in his professionalism, prompt responses, and again attention to detail. Tyler allowed us to see things from his professional prospective while still maintaining what my husband and I envisioned. He truly is an expert in his field and absolutely AMAZING! Our guests were dancing all night long from the first to the last song! We couldn’t of been happier. He did a fantastic job from beginning to end and I recommend him to everyone I know who is getting married!
Thank you again, Tyler!!!

Tyler was the DJ at our wedding back in 2022. I had dozens of guests say that it was the best DJ that they've seen at a wedding. He's incredibly professional, helped MC the WHOLE event, and brought a lot of equipment to enhance the experience. He helped us put together the playlist and accommodate our every need. We had cultural elements to the wedding that he'd never done before, including music in another language that he mixed and transitioned effortlessly. People kept asking where we found him.

This is one area that you can rest assured will be covered and easy with Engage Entertainment. I can't speak more highly of his work. It made the whole event level up and even more memorable. He's done countless weddings so I highly recommend you listen to his advise, it's likely what you need to hear! Our wedding planner who's done hundreds of weddings went as far and say he was the most professional and best DJ she's work with. She now recommends Tyler to all her clients.

This is the one area of your wedding where you shouldn't cut corners. How many weddings have you been to and thought the DJ was mediocre or bad? I'd say most of the time that's been the case. You'll avoid that concern with 100% certainty.

Engage Entertainment is worth every penny. Don't debate this decision for a moment - this is the DJ for you! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding...I may go far as say the best decision.

I used Engage Entertainment for my Wedding in Sedona in September and it was the BEST decision I made. We specifically booked Tyler Sherman (aka DJ MUNITION) and he was such a pleasure to work with curating the perfect vibe for our desert disco feeling wedding. He was so easy to communicate with and made himself readily available to chat through playlists and song queues. We had multiple hour long calls and he was just so fun to plan everything with. His excitement for us throughout the process really shone through and we really felt safe with him being the vibe master of the day. On the actual day, he came so prepared, was so professional, and was just SO MUCH FUN!!!! He had the best energy and all of the creative liberties he took during the reception really paid off and kept people dancing ALL NIGHT LONG. his setup also made us feel like we were at a festival which is exactly what we wanted! I wish I could get married again just so I could book him again for the reception. We love Tyler so much, and our wedding was a banger BECAUSE OF HIM. 100 out of 10 stars <3
